Adorable Raggedy Ann & Andy Georgene Reproductions of the Vertical Stripe dolls made for a brief time during WWII. The dolls and faces are made to the specifications of the 1940's Georgene-Silsby dolls. Made for the Japan collector market by Applause/Hasbro. Each Doll measures approx. 17" tall. You are getting both Ann & Andy as a set. These dolls are adorable and remind many of us older collectors of the "old days". You won't be disappointed.

Special Commemorative Raggedy Ann National Toy Hall of Fame Edition. On March 27, 2002, Classic Raggedy Ann was selected to join previous winners like roller skates, jacks and bicycles in the prestigious Toy Hall of Fame. The National Toy Hall of Fame in Salem, Oregon, established in 1998, recognizes toys that have inspired generations to learn and create, which befits a timeless toy like Raggedy Ann. This doll is a commemorative piece honoring Raggedy Ann's timeless appeal.

Raggedy Ann is 20" tall and modeled after the Georgene-Silsby dolls of the early 1940's. She has a printed, rounded, more friendly face and flat shoe button eyes. Comes in a display box.
